Came here for a kayak rental and the service was very good. The process was simple and straight forward. Friendly help and provided a full run down of the landscape. He gave us great pointers of where to go after for lunch and waterfalls to see. I'd certainly recommend!

First of all- I'd definitely recommend renting here!
My husband and I were looking for a water activity along The Hood River town area water way and until we walked up to the water path, we didn't know if it was possible to rent anything. We happened upon WhatSUP and from the moment we inquired about what to do from the moment we took out of the river, Justin was spot on. He recommended great spots to paddle to, one of which led us right to a pair of bald eagles. I believe he is a small company, so he really had time to talk to us and provide suggestions. I'm not sure if you would receive the same service from the larger outfitters.

We are a family of seven who rented kayaks through WhatSUP Kayaking. The guy who rented them to us was so nice and patient with us. He gave a us great suggestions of where we could go out on the water. Our kids (ages 20 - 10) loved it......beautiful scenery and a fun family activity for a variety of ages. We rented single and double kayaks. We would definitely recommend this for anyone looking to get out on the river.
