Tours depart from the Wind River, a protected cove 15 miles west of Hood River on the Washington side. Snacks and drinks are provided. Our guided tours include a kayak, paddle, life jacket, dry bag, snack, bottle of water, and a professional guide. Guided tours are $60 per person (group rates available for 7 or more people). RESERVATIONS REQUIRED.
Sunset Tours (2hrs) – $60
Explore the Wind River in a wind-protected cove of clear, glacier-melt water. The water is so clear that you can see the pebbles on the bottom of the river, and not to mention wildlife! There are fish, eagles, osprey, herons, ducks, and otters that call this cove home. The tour includes a paddle upstream with a chance to swim, take photos, and do a little exploring, and ends with a float back out to the Columbia to watch the sun set behind the mountains of the Gorge.Book Sunset TourBook Sunset Tour
